Ans. Yes, if you want / need calls to be routed to a person. However, if you configure Avventore to be self-contained (not forwarding calls to real people), then you do not need existing phones.
Ans. You can use Avventore without limits on call minutes or text messages, however, each pricing plan details the number of credits that go with each plan. All plans allow you to forward calls, take messages, deliver custom greetings and send text messages.

Ans. You can create a local presence by choosing from 100s of available area codes, and numerous telephone numbers in each area code. Toll free numbers are available at an additional cost. The sign-up process will allow you to.

Ans. Not at this time. Simply configure your existing number to forward to your Avventore telephone number and everything will work as you expect. Port in request will be considered on a case by case basis.
